Tay + Logan’s Holy Covenant Wedding at The Barn at Timber Ridge | Morgantown, Indiana
Tay and Logan’s wedding at The Barn at Timber Ridge in Morgantown, Indiana was a beautiful mix of elegant, rustic, and traditional style. With soft pink, sage green, gold, and white throughout the day, their wedding had the perfect timeless feel. But what made this Morgantown Indiana wedding so special was not just the beautiful details. It was the heart behind the day—a faith-centered, holy covenant wedding surrounded by the people who traveled from near and far to witness Tay and Logan begin their marriage.
Tay had dreamed of an elegant wedding day, and she looked absolutely stunning in her lace strapless wedding gown. From the getting-ready moments to her bridal details, every part of the morning felt full of excitement. One of the most special parts of the day was their first look, something Tay had been especially excited about. Logan’s reaction was even more meaningful because he had a surprise of his own. He showed up in a beautiful linen suit and had cut off his signature man bun! It was such a fun and unforgettable surprise for Tay and made their first look even more personal.
Their wedding day was intentionally traditional and centered around their faith. They chose an unplugged ceremony, giving their family and friends the chance to put their phones away and truly be present for this important moment. They also chose to share private vows, keeping some of the most meaningful words between the two of them. Their wedding was not simply about having a beautiful day—it was about entering into a marriage covenant together.
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow." — Ecclesiastes 4:9
The Barn at Timber Ridge was the perfect setting for their rustic elegant Indiana wedding. The barn gave them the warmth and character of a rustic wedding venue while still allowing their pink, sage green, white, and gold details to feel elegant and timeless. The property also gave us beautiful opportunities for their wedding portraits, including the lake they had specifically requested. Tay and Logan wanted those images to have a little “Notebook” feeling, including photos together in a boat on the water. Those portraits became some of the most romantic images of their day.
One of the things Tay and Logan told me they loved most about my photography was the elegance, faith-centered approach, and how comfortable they felt in front of my camera. That means so much to me because wedding photography is about more than creating pretty images. It is about creating photographs that allow a couple to remember how they felt. Tay and Logan said they want to look at their wedding photos 20 years from now and feel nostalgic and romantic—to fall back in love every time they see the photos. That is exactly what a wedding gallery should do.
Their bridal party of 12 brought so much joy and energy to the day, and their family and friends surrounded them with love as they entered this new season of marriage. From the elegant bridal details and getting-ready photographs to the first look, ceremony, lake portraits, and celebration, every part of their Morgantown, Indiana wedding photography gallery tells a piece of their story.
And then came their private last dance—one final quiet moment together at the end of a day filled with people, laughter, tears, and celebration. There is something incredibly beautiful about ending a wedding day by giving the bride and groom a moment to simply be husband and wife.
Tay and Logan, your wedding was beautiful because it was deeply personal. It was elegant without losing its warmth, traditional without feeling ordinary, and full of the faith and love that brought you to this covenant. It was an absolute honor to document your Holy Covenant Wedding at The Barn at Timber Ridge in Morgantown, Indiana, and I hope that every time you open your gallery years from now, you are taken right back to this day—and fall in love all over again.
