Nancy + Hector | Romantic Engagement Session at The Chapel at Palacio in Fort Worth, Texas
Some love stories begin with a grand moment. Nancy and Hector’s began in a much simpler place—working side by side as college students at AutoZone. What started as a friendship eventually grew into something much deeper, and by July of 2022, they officially began dating.
Today, their relationship is rooted in encouragement, patience, and a deep love for one another—with God at the center of it all.
Their romantic engagement session at the beautiful The Chapel at Palacio perfectly captured the quiet strength and tenderness that defines their relationship.
A Love Story That Grew from Friendship
Nancy and Hector first met while working as cashiers together at AutoZone. For a full year, they built a friendship while navigating college life. Over time, that friendship blossomed into a relationship filled with mutual support, affection, and shared goals.
Since July 2022, their love story has continued to grow through major life milestones.
Nancy graduated and began working as a nurse, while Hector is now finishing his final semester as a finance major at University of Texas at Arlington.
But the most meaningful transformation in their relationship came when they both decided to return to their faith. Together they began attending church again, praying together, and learning more about God. That decision strengthened their relationship in a powerful way and deepened their connection not only as a couple—but as individuals.
Their engagement in December 2023 took place at Nancy’s grandparents’ home in Mexico, making it a deeply meaningful moment surrounded by family and heritage.
A Romantic Fort Worth Engagement Session
For their engagement session, Nancy and Hector chose the timeless setting of The Chapel at Palacio. With its elegant architecture and peaceful atmosphere, it was the perfect location to reflect their romantic and soulful personalities.
Both Nancy and Hector describe themselves as introverted, calm, and family-oriented. Rather than adventurous or playful poses, they gravitated toward images that felt authentic—deep, romantic, and full of quiet emotion.
Their love languages are physical touch and quality time, which was evident throughout the entire session. From the way Hector gently held Nancy’s hand to the quiet moments they shared between photographs, their connection was effortless.
One of the most beautiful parts of the session was watching how naturally affectionate they are with each other. Their comfort with closeness made every moment feel genuine and intimate.
A Couple Who Loves the Simple Things
When Nancy and Hector aren’t planning their wedding, they enjoy spending time doing simple things together.
They love exploring new restaurants, discovering new date spots, and spending time with both of their families. Some of their favorite days, however, are the quiet ones—watching movies together or attempting new recipes in the kitchen (even if cooking doesn’t always go as planned).
Their relationship thrives on quality time, laughter, and shared faith.
Why Photography Matters to Them
Nancy shared that her only previous professional photoshoot was during her quinceañera, and while it was special, she didn’t always feel comfortable during the experience. Because of that, creating a relaxed and natural environment during this session was especially important.
Hector, on the other hand, had never experienced a professional photoshoot before.
By the end of the session, both of them were completely at ease—simply enjoying each other and the moment.
Their hope for these images is simple and beautiful:
They want people to see how deeply they love each other. And one day, they hope their children will look back at these photographs and see how in love their parents were in their twenties.
Looking Ahead to Their Wedding Day
Nancy and Hector will celebrate their wedding reception at The Springs Event Venue, and they are currently deciding on the church where they will exchange their vows.
With their shared commitment to faith, family, and supporting each other’s dreams, their marriage is already built on a strong foundation.
It was such a joy capturing this season of their story, and I cannot wait to photograph the next chapter as they begin their life together.
