A Romantic Engagement Session at The Reserve at Marty B’s | Morgan + Dylan’s Love Story


Some love stories begin with a grand moment, while others begin with a simple connection that grows into something unforgettable. For Morgan and Dylan, their story began on a Christian dating app called Upward, where two people with different personalities quickly discovered they shared the same values, faith, and vision for the future.


Morgan and Dylan describe their relationship as fun, easygoing, playful, and adventurous — and their engagement session was the perfect reflection of that. With one being more reserved and purposeful and the other outgoing and full of life, they balance each other beautifully. Dylan’s patience and steady nature complement Morgan’s kindness, thoughtfulness, and joyful personality in a way that makes their love feel effortless.


Their relationship has been built through intentional moments together, from traveling and discovering new adventures to spending time with family or simply enjoying a movie night at home. One of their biggest challenges was navigating the distance between Dallas and Houston while dating. Instead of allowing the miles to separate them, they used that time to be purposeful, making every weekend together count and building a strong foundation for their future.


For their engagement session, we chose the beautiful grounds of The Reserve at Marty B’s, a stunning North Texas wedding venue known for its rustic elegance, outdoor spaces, and unforgettable atmosphere. Located near Argyle, Texas, The Reserve at Marty B’s provides the perfect setting for couples who want a wedding experience surrounded by natural beauty, warmth, and timeless charm.


Morgan and Dylan’s connection was effortless to photograph. From playful piggyback rides and laughter-filled moments to quiet, romantic embraces, their session captured every side of their relationship — the fun, the romance, and the deep admiration they have for one another.


When asked how they want to feel looking back at their photographs 20 years from now, Morgan shared that she hopes to feel the same love and admiration they have today. That is exactly what makes engagement photography so meaningful — preserving not just how a couple looks, but how they love.


I am so grateful Morgan and Dylan found me through my daughter and trusted me to capture this special season of their journey. Their love story is a beautiful reminder that when two people are intentional, patient, and willing to choose each other, something truly special can grow.
