There are some wedding days—and some wedding moments—that remind you just how magical love can be when the right people come together. Recently, I had the honor of photographing at the iconic Olana outside of Dallas, and it felt like stepping into a European romance film. From the grand architecture to the golden halls and sweeping landscape, The Olana is truly one of the most breathtaking wedding venues in Texas.
Even though I’m an East Texas wedding photographer, Tyler brides ask me often,
“Can my wedding really feel this elevated?”
And the answer is always: Absolutely—when the right vendors, the right heart, and the right joy come together.
But the most unexpected blessing of this day?
Meeting Mrs. Texas International ’25.
You would never know this woman holds a crown.
She is humble, gentle-spirited, kind, and carries herself with the kind of grace every bride deserves to feel on her wedding day. She and her husband were so fun, warm, and beautifully in love—truly magazine-worthy without even trying. Their presence reminded me that elegance isn’t about perfection… it’s about the spirit you bring into the room.
As Scripture says:
“Humility comes before honor.” — Proverbs 15:33
Her humility radiated more than any title.
And watching the way she looked at her husband reflected another truth I cherish in my work:
“Two are better than one… for if either of them falls, one can help the other up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10
Marriage is a partnership built on joy, service, and quiet strength.
A Vision for Your Wedding Day, Dear Bride
I want you to imagine:
Soft, glowing light.
A gown that floats behind you.
Music drifting through the air.
Laughter echoing between you, your groom, and your people.
The kind of beauty that doesn’t feel forced, but natural.
The kind that looks effortless because you chose the right team.
The kind that feels like a love letter—classic, timeless, and full of grace.
Your wedding doesn’t need a castle to feel luxurious.
You just need:
✨ vendors who care
✨ a peaceful, joyful attitude
✨ a photographer who brings a boutique experience and knows how to create magic in any location
That’s where I come in.
As an East TX + Tyler fine-art wedding photographer, my heart is to curate imagery that feels elevated, intentional, and deeply personal—no matter the venue. Whether your wedding takes place in the rolling greens of East Texas or the regal halls of The Olana, I capture your day in a way that feels refined, joyful, and uniquely yours.
