I first met Devin during her bridal portraits with my daughter, Chynjah. From the moment she stepped in front of the camera, I could tell she carried something special. She was incredibly sweet, soft-spoken, full of faith, and had the kind of gentle spirit you instantly connect with. When we walked into the bridal suite, Devin was glowing. Not just because her hair and makeup were perfectly done — though they truly were — but because she carried a peaceful, joyful radiance that made the whole room feel warm.
Her makeup was soft, natural, and flawless. Her dark, thick hair framed her face beautifully, strong and vibrant just like her personality. Her bridesmaids were dressed in the most beautiful fall-inspired colors — rich, warm, bold tones that complimented both the season and their bright, fun personalities.
And my favorite part?
Her mother and grandmother were right by her side the entire time.
The bond between them reminded me so much of my own family. You could feel the love, the support, the prayers, and the joy surrounding her.
Her ring was one of the most unique and stunning pieces I’ve ever photographed. It looked like a sunburst — radiant, bold, and impossible to miss. A true conversation piece.
Making the Most of Every Moment
Even though we were only there for six hours, we made the absolute most of her wedding day. From the chapel to the barn to the quiet moments in between, it was nonstop beauty and nonstop gratitude. Devin was so easy to photograph — graceful, relaxed, and genuinely excited to marry her best friend.
